PREPARING FOR MATCHES - KEY POINTS

A quick guide to preparing for match days.

  • Coaches should be aware of their fixtures and where to find them for most this is FA Full Time for others it is the league website.

  • You can only play registered players in league organised games. So you must know who is registered. The club will be fined if you play unregistered players even at U7.

  • U11 and above should  have a FA squad list printed to show their opposition each week to confirm their players are registered.

  • Make sure you have an FA Full Time Login. This is used for filing results, reports and in The Crowborough League (CL) U11 above used for setting kick off times (this needs to be done by 5pm on the Monday before the game, if you want a Referee allocated.

  • Please make sure you have a pitched allocated or booked. For the time you want.

  • Let your opposition know the details the Sunday before the game. Contacts are on the league websites or on the FA Full time email you should get each week (except CL U7 to U10 which is all on their website including results sheets which need submitting after each match)

  • Let the Referee know as soon as possible. U7 to U10 Crowborough we normally suggest a coach referee. U7 to U10 Maidstone Primary League (MPL) we suggest you use a qualified referee but you will need to book one yourself. The club can help you find one. The rest of you should be allocated one by your league. If not, you will have to find one.

  • Match day, if you at home and are first on the pitch you will need to arrange to set it up. Inline with club guidelines. If you are last on you will need to put it away in the correct lockers.

  • On Match Day you should have with you as a minimum your printed FA Full Time Squad List (except U7 to U10 CL) footballs and first aid kit.

  • Everyone present is expected to follow the club’s codes of conduct.

  • If the Match is cancelled for what every reason you need to let the League, Referee, Opposition and hopefully your team know asap.  Also if it was not the club who cancelled it, please let the secretary know and update the pitch booking sheet so the other teams know.

  • WIN, lose or draw you need to submit your results the evening of the game. For most this via FA  Full Time using your login. For CL U7 to U10 it is via an email. The template is on the CL website. If you do not the Club will be FINED.

Good Luck..
